Privacy

Launch Videos is a small site. This page says plainly what it records and why.

When you visit

The site counts its own visits, to learn what works and what doesn't. It uses no cookies for this, no ads and no third-party analytics. Your browser keeps a random ID in its local storage, and the site records:

• your approximate location (city and country), worked out from your IP address. The full address is not stored.
• the site that sent you here, your device type, browser and language.
• which parts of the page you looked at, how far you scrolled, whether the demo film played, and what you clicked.
• your answer to the "what stopped you today?" question, if you choose to answer it.

The Launch Videos team sees this to improve the site. It is not sold or shared, and it is deleted after 13 months. To turn it off in your browser, open launchvideos.app/?notrack=1.

When you order

Your brief and files are used to make your film, and they are stored with it. Payment is handled by Stripe, which gives the site your email, so your film can go on your dashboard. Card details never reach Launch Videos. Your email signs you in to the dashboard and is only used to tell you about your films.

If you submit a Pay with Collab request, we keep the link to your social page and the email you give us, to review your request, contact you about it and keep to one free film per person. If you turn on notifications, we keep your browser's notification address to tell you about your request and film. A declined request and its files are deleted after 30 days.

If you claimed a Pay with Collab refund on an earlier order, we keep the link to the post you shared with us, to check it and to keep a record of the refund.
